Keep it simple

One of my favorite inspirational people is Iyanla Vanzant. Just days after my husband walked out the door I was fortunate enough to listen to a seminar she gave. I cried throughout most of it but at the end she told a story about simplicity, about the importance of keeping life simple. As she was walking off the stage she said "booboo didn't leave you because you weren't good enough, he left because he wasn't the one for you. Keep it simple!"
Every time I start to feel down or upset I just remember that he simply is not the one for me.
If he left, he's not the one for you. You are good enough. Remember that.
